Traditional and Functional Curtains

The Pencil Pleat curtain gets it name from the 'pencil like' pleats that are created in the curtain heading when pulled together. The curtain type is highly versatile and can be used in projects where a bend or curved curtain shape is required or where there is need to affix a curtain to the ceiling as opposed to the wall.

Pencil Pleat Curtains are hung on a curtain track or a curtain pole with ringlets. They are an ideal curtain for Bay Window areas where tracks are fitted to the ceiling. The curtain heading is gathered together so that the the pleats look like pencils in a row, which is where the terms pencil pleats originates from.
